Blocked Paving & Patios

We can install blocked paving for footpaths, patios or driveways – whatever your property needs!

Blocked paving is a popular choice among many of our customers and has a slick, neat appearance. The most popular blocks used are the Marshall Tegula range, these come in 3 different sizes. These blocks are usually laid in the herringbone pattern, which has been the tradition for over 400 years.

Blocked paving can totally transform the exterior of your property. Perhaps you need a safe pathway for little ones or elderly residents or maybe you’re in need of that extra parking space – blocked paving is the modern way forward!

If you already have blocked paving installed, then we are also able to upgrade this or carry out repair work, should this be required.

Resin Bound

Resin Bound is another option for your driveway. This material is highly durable, long lasting and an alternative to tarmac – a popular choice as it is also easier on the eye too!

These surfaces have a two part polymer resin, combined with a natural aggregate. This aggregate is usually dried in a kiln before being placed with the polymer into a forced-action mixer. Once it has been processed, it will be applied onto a suitable surface. A typical resin bound surface is usually laid to a depth of 12 – 25mm. Additionally, we can apply a non-slip coating to ensure maximum safety.

We are able to work to many different budgets and will use the highest quality materials available. To ensure your new driveway will last for many years to come we comply with all relevant EN regulations.

We always excavate the driveway to the required depth and will layer it accordingly. Layering the tarmac guarantees tarmac drive longevity and stops subsidence.

The tarmac is then compacted and levelled at the hardcore stage before edging / kerbing is added to retain the tarmac and to stop it cracking.

After the base course layer has been laid the final step is to lay the decorative layer of tarmac which is resistant to cars turning and general surface weather conditions and wear and tear.

Once we have completed your tarmac driveway, the drive will need to be left to harden prior to normal usage for up to 6 days.

All concrete services are completed with you in mind, we work to ensure that the grade, type and amount of ready-mix concrete is specific to suit your needs.
