Cavity Wall Insulation Extraction

The cavity wall insulation may need to be extracted for a number of reasons. The first reason could be because the insulation material has become defective, releasing toxic gases and causing a breakdown. The second reason insulation may need to be removed is because of it becoming wet, this can be due to there being bad mortar or brickwork, flooding or burst pipes. Insulation may also need to be removed if it was fitted poorly.

We use an industrial vacuum machine in order to remove the insulation. A drilling pattern is positioned up the whole length of the wall, the vacuum nozzle is positioned and follows the pattern. Removal commences at the bottom of the property and works its way up.

We will remove all waste material, leaving your property in a good condition. An extraction of insulation will take roughly 2 days for a 3 bedroom property.
